Who we are
The site is written by Maitiú, a home barista who got tired of reading the same five Breville machines recommended in every roundup with descriptions that read like the manufacturer's website. We write the gear reviews we wish existed when we were making our own buying decisions.

We write from the perspective of someone who's actually used the gear — knowledgeable but not condescending, opinionated where it helps you decide, and honest about tradeoffs. We use "we" because this is an editorial effort, not a personal blog, but every recommendation reflects genuine judgment.
